Canoeing

Canoeing came up from the eskimos who used the small boat for transportation and fishing, in Europe canoeing became a sport. Canoeing first came to Brazil around 1939 by the hands of German immigrants. On adventure tourism the sport can be practiced by anybody without previous experience (profile to be evaluated by instructors) on inflatable kayaks DUCKS, pretty stable boats that allow double accupancy and the company of an experienced instructor.

Look for CANOAGEM, supplied on the Macae River, located on Estrada Serra Mar, km 7 – place of encounter of the rivers Macae and Bonito, Lumiar, 5th District of Nova Friburgo, RJ, inserted in the EPA of Macae de Cima, with an average duration of 40minutes.
