Boa da Esperanca

A touristic township of the District of Lumiar, located in the County of Nova Friburgo. It is a region of tropical climate, in the altitude and of accidented landscape, offering various options in sports directed at ecotourism, especially trekking, a true Mecca of trails and routes for ecological hiking.  Besides that, Boa Esperança offers waterfalls and a notable environmental corner - the Gaia, recognized by IBAMA as an RPPN on the border of Nova Friburgo with the towns of Bom Jardim and Trajano de Morais.

In Boa Esperanca we find some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region. Pretty close to the center of Lumiar, visiting the village of Boa Esperanca we are certain to come across unforgettable scenery! Indiana Jones Waterfall, São Jose, Poco Belo...
