The Grota Funda Trekking

The Grota Funda Trekking is a mild walk amid the Atlantic Forest with rivers and streams. It is located in the District of Lumiar, County of Nova Friburgo, in the Mountain Ranges of the State of Rio de Janeiro, inserted in the APAEMC (the Portuguese language initials for Macae de Cima Environmental Protection Area). On this tour we reach one of the district’s most beautiful places, TOCA DA ONCA, where we find a restaurant that makes cassava bread pizza. The exuberant view of the trail amid the well preserved Atlantic Forest allows the trekker for moments of a unique experience.
